Fees
- Registered Clinical Counsellor (50-minute session): $150.00–$160.00 (as recommended by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors).
Sliding Scale Fee: To make counselling services accessible, I offer a sliding scale fee based on household income. This ensures affordability and encourages regular attendance for optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Third-Party Vendor Programs
ICBC Claims (Motor Vehicle Accident Injury Services):
If you’ve been in a motor vehicle accident, ICBC provides counselling services under its funding plan. Key details include:
- No physician’s referral or lawyer is required if you have a claim number.
- Counselling services are free for the first 12 sessions if initiated within 12 weeks of the accident.
- Further sessions may be extended based on need.

Symptoms commonly experienced after motor vehicle accidents may include:
- Anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), or panic attacks.
- Sleep problems (e.g., insomnia).
- Anger, frustration, or fear.
- Difficulty concentrating or poor memory.
- Sensitivity to others or irritability.
- Suicidal thoughts.
- Blurred vision, headaches, vertigo.
- Fatigue or low energy.
- Physical pain and more.
Insurance Coverage
BC Medical Services Plan (MSP): Counselling services are not covered by the BC Medical Services Plan.
Extended Medical Insurance: Some private insurance providers (e.g., Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife) may cover counselling services. Coverage varies by policy, so it’s best to check with your provider before booking a session. ICBC motor vehicle accident compensation plans may also cover counselling sessions, depending on eligibility.
Crime Victim Assistance Program and WorkSafe BC Programs: Counselling services may be covered under these programs. Before booking a session, please confirm with your provider whether services from a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) are included in your plan.
Employment Assistance Programs (EAP): If you have extended health care coverage through your employer, counselling services may be included. Contact your insurance provider for precise details about your coverage.
